That Dirty Dog

Whether you have a dog or not, February vacation is the perfect time to check out That Dirty Dog, Andover’s first pet spa and boutique. I recently popped in and met Cheryl Iodice, Dirty Dog’s owner and her super sweet and supportive mum.

Cheryl is pursuing her passion while fulfilling a need in our community for an all-in-one self-serve wash, full service groomer. Stop in and introduce yourself to Cheryl and That Dirty Dog - you’ll be glad you did!

“Have you ever asked yourself “What job would I do if I could do anything?”  Well, I have asked myself that question many times over the years and answered it the same way – “something to do with animals.”  This is largely because of my love of dogs starting when I was 6 and got my first puppy. Being with my pets brings me untold happiness and I know that every other pet owner feels the same.

So, with this love of pets combined with my 25-year business career in the healthcare industry, I am inspired to finally take this important step to follow my dream and open a pet spa and boutique.  I am excited to put my dedication to customer service, attention to detail, and ability to create and lead a highly skilled staff that will provide the care that pet owners expect to work in a direction that is also very close to my heart.

Why Andover?  Well, it is a place that I have a great affinity to because of my +100 year family history here and it is one of the most pet friendly towns I know.  Over my entire life, Andover (and North Andover) has given me some of my most treasured memories – being with my family, going to parades on Main Street, taking our dogs for walks in the park, and working here for the past 25 years.  So, it is really clear to me that this is where I want to continue this incredibly long relationship with the Andover community as I step into the next chapter of my life!”
